StatSoft to speak at ASQ's Six Sigma Forum

StatSoft invites you to attend its paper presentation at ASQ's Six Sigma Forum in Palm Springs, California, from February 7-8, 2005. Mike Seskin, Black Belt from Solar Turbines (a Caterpillar company) and Robert Eames, Product Manager from StatSoft, Inc. will be presenting the following paper in Session E2 on Tuesday, February 8 from 9:15 - 10:15 AM:

Process Improvement Results Using Predictive Modeling and Optimization
Software Demonstration and Success Stories regarding the utilization of predictive modeling and optimization of manufacturing processes for process improvement. The presentation will cover how predictive modeling is being used by Six Sigma project teams for process intelligence and optimization.

Companies have invested in sophisticated data capture and storage systems, accumulating a wealth of historical data. If the appropriate tools are applied to these data, they can be transformed into valuable insights and actionable information for making ongoing process improvements. Mike will be presenting a case study of the methodology and tools from his work at Solar Turbines.
