StatSoft Inc.'s STATISTICA Chosen as a Statistics Software Standard at BP

The BP Software Selection Team noted, "STATISTICA fulfills requirements for advanced modeling techniques, especially regression methods, neural networks, and multivariable tools, has presentation-quality output with excellent graphics, is easy to use, and integrates well with ms Office and web-based applications."

BP will initially utilize STATISTICA in its chemicals division where employees in the United States and Europe will have access to a wide array of basic and advanced statistical techniques, including quality control charts, process analysis, experimental design, and neural networks.
