STATISTICA Enterprise-wide SPC System Unique in Industry

StatSoft, Inc. is pleased to announce that Version 6 of its powerful enterprise-wide quality control and improvement application, STATISTICA Enterprise-wide SPC System (SEWSS), is now available. SEWSS Version 6 includes a number of enhancements and additional functionality that make it truly unique in the industry, including: comprehensive Six Sigma tools and a “Six Sigma-oriented” user interface, integrated Visual Basic scripting for easy automation/customization, a new Query Wizard for seamless data acquisition, complete Web enablement options, and much more.

In addition to these new enhancements, SEWSS 6 includes features that have garnered STATISTICA the highest rating in EVERY comparative review of statistics software in which it has been featured since its first release in 1993. In addition, every aspect of the interface can be adjusted by dragging controls with the mouse so that countless program options can be as hidden or as exposed as desired.

The Query Wizard in SEWSS 6 allows users to easily access data from a wide variety of databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, etc. The SEWSS Query Wizard automatically builds SQL statements as the user selects the components of the query via a simple graphical interface so extensive knowledge of SQL is not necessary in order for users to create advanced and powerful queries of data in a quick and straightforward manner.

SEWSS 6 also offers two options for Web-enablement for users to share documents across the hall or across continents. The first option, Entry Level WebSEWSS, is a powerful report generation tool for creating highly customized reports, formatted the way that you want, and at times that you choose. The ultimate Web-enablement option, WebSEWSS Complete, offers a complete Internet-browser based user interface and enables users to easily access data and powerful analytical tools of SEWSS and STATISTICA from virtually any computer in the world as long as it is connected to the Web. With WebSEWSS Complete all quality control processes can be managed remotely over the Internet.
